This pattern imitates the smaller dark olive caddis larvae that dominate insect biomass in some lowland rivers. It is realistic, incredibly durable and sinks well for its size. Based on overall size and shape it may also be accepted as a Horn Caddis.

Fishing Tip:  The Spanflex Crimp Caddis sinks well enough to be used on the dropper in shallow riffles.  In deeper water, use this fly on the point with an Antron Netspinner on the dropper.
