Turkey Crimp Nymph
Originator : Marc Griffiths | Size: 16 | Weight: 11 turns 0.015" lead wire

This fly was designed to imitate darker versions of the ubiquitous Deleatidium mayfly nymph.  It is much more realistic and a lot more durable than the Pheasant Tail Nymph. The Turkey Crimp Nymph also fortuitously imitates small stoneflies (<10mm), common throughout many stony streams.

Fishing Tip:  Fish the Crimp Nymph dead-drift, either as a single nymph in shallow/slower water, or in tandem with a heavier pattern to attain greater depth.
